A graphic designer and illustrator with almost 30 years’ experience, I have a strong conceptual streak and an old-school eye for detail.
My career started in a Leeds advertising agency in 1997 – when design for print was the order of the day – before moving to a Bedford design consultancy. There I worked with regional and national organisations across print and digital, from branding and annual reports to social media and website graphics. I take ideas from paper sketches through to finished artwork.
Illustration has always been a big part of the mix, initially supporting my design work but quickly becoming a discipline in its own right. I create illustrations, infographics and motion graphics, as well as book covers and interior illustrations for publishing.
Since 2021, I’ve worked through my own business, collaborating with design agencies, businesses and a publishing client. I like bringing ideas to life – whether they need designing, illustrating or a bit of both.
